Ludwig van Beethoven: Romances In F And G For Violin And Orchestra: Orchestra:
Orchestra, Violin
[Sheet music]
Barenreiter
for Violin and Orchestra-Beethoven?s 'Romances' are performed all over the world...
(+)
for Violin and Orchestra-Beethoven?s 'Romances' are performed all over the world yet how many conductors performers and listeners are aware that op. 50 which was incidentally composed before op. 40 comes down to us in an unfinished form? The autograph score contains little to no articulation or dynamics and to the present day the work has existed only in highly over-edited publications. The performer has no way of knowing what was originally intended by the composer.Bärenreiter?s new Urtext edition of opp. 50 and 40 offers the score to op. 50 twice; the first score reflects the state of Beethoven?s autograph with editorial markings clearly indicated the second score has beenedited based on other works by Beethoven from that period. This manner of publishing remains true to the sources and at the same time offers musicians a reliable transparent score for performances.Barenreiter No. BA9026

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 5 In A: Ensemble: Instrumental Work
Orchestra, Violin

for Violin and Orchestra-Mozart composed the majority of his works for solo String Instruments and Orchestra during the years 1773 1779. Especially important are the years 1773 and 1775 which witnessed the creation of the five concertos for Violin and Orchestra as well as several single movements for the same scoring. The reasons for this flourish of activity are partly that Mozart who still occupied the post of concertmaster to the Prince-Archbishop was either obliged or inspired to provide such works for special occasions during this long period spent in Salzburg. But another reason was certainly the possibility of experimenting with all the new compositional techniques acquiredduring his third trip to Italy and his stay of several months in Vienna from July to September 1773.Urtext of the New Mozart EditionFull score and performance material (BA4712) Violin and Piano reduction (BA4712-90) and study score format 22.5 x 16.5cm (TP20) available for sale. The new Urtext performing editions to Mozart’s Violin concertos nos. 1-5 contain new easy to play Piano reductions. They offer in addition to the Urtext solo Violin part an extra Violin part prepared with bowings and fingerings by M. Wulfhorst.A brochure with cadenzas lead-ins and fermata embellishments by Joseph Joachim Sam Franko Leopold Auer Eugène Ysaye and Martin Wulfhorst is also included.

Mozart composed the majority of his works for solo string instruments and orchestra during the years 1773 to 1779. Especially important in this context are the years 1773 and 1775 which witnessed the creation of the five concertos for Violin and orchestra as well as several single movements for the same scoring. The reasons for this flourish of activity in this domain lie partly in the fact that Mozart who still occupied the post of concertmaster to the Prince-Archbishop was either obliged or inspired to provide such works for special occasions during this long period spent in Salzburg. But another reason was certainly the possibility ofexperimenting with all the new compositional techniques acquired during his third trip to Italy and his stay of several months in Vienna from July to September 1773.New straightforward Piano reduction (BA4863-90) with:- Violin solo part with the Urtext of the New Mozart Edition- Additional violin solo part with fingerings bowings and performance comments- Additional booklet with cadenzas and transitions by L. Auer J. Joachim S. Franko E. Ysaÿe M. WulfhorstThis collection offers players a spectrum of styles available in no other publication.
