A Coventry Carol by Douglas Andrews arranged for SATB a capella.Douglas Andrews (composer arranger clinician) received his B.S. in Music Education from Mansfield (Pa.) University Masters of Music in composition from Pennsylvania State University and an Ed.S in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida. Doug has worked at South Florida Community College since 1982 when he assumed the position of Instructor of Music. For the next 22 years he split his time between teaching and administrative duties. In January of 2004 he was named Dean of Cultural Programs. He began writing for the SFCC Vocal Jazz Ensemble a group he formed in 1995. Hecontinues to write for a wide variety and settings recently having had works published by Shawnee Press Hal Leonard and others.

Miniature Score The Requiem in D minor for men's voices, and orchestra occupies a distinctive place in his church music - he intended it for his own funeral ceremony. The initial impulse for the composition of the work was occasioned by the death of the composer boieul dieu in 1834.
