La Fountaine and the Crow is an opera-fable created by Isabelle Aboulker and based on the fables of Jean de la Fontaine. Featuring the scores for voice and piano only and the text for the actors, this piece is a show in which the music is initially played by flute, oboe, 2 clarinets, bassoon, horn, piano, percussion and cello. Two actors are necessary: the Crow and the show presenter. La Fountaine and the crow is a great work for a choir or a music school.
