This is a piece in three movements, for Violin, Flute, Bb Clarinet and Cello. It is written in the depths of winter, snow, ice frost and mud. But it is also written in front of a warm fire, with good food and companionship, the duel apsects of winter. This is the first movement - The Lonely Air.
