Everyone finds something and stops along the way discouraged. However, the real discoveries, especially today in the era of the Internet, are in each. Transmit, communicate, exchange is very important. Each method of composition is unique and extremely informative. Treatises on harmony and counterpoint were all written in hindsight. Composers - Bach, Mozart, Berlioz, Schoenberg, Cage - have all experienced freely invented forms, rhythms, colors. For us to imitate them. The science of writing and composition is not in books but in the scores themselves. Thank you, dear Aaron, for the quality of your listening.

A wonderful introduction into your discovery! Its modal sonority sparkles---leaves one in awe, regardless of its usage as an exercise. Students would find this easy to learn from; as you have expounded upon it musically, in a very comprehensive manner. Bravo.
