TOO TOO FUNNY. I can't tell you how many bands I've played in over the years were people arrived late...David's humor in writing this piece to "RELIEVE THE BOREDOM"....is just way too funny.....BUT....maybe not as funny as my rendition of his arrangement on saxes....sopranino+soprano+tenor+BASS Sax.....not a combination you'll find every day.....and I wasn't too late....ahhaha....just a friendly jibe from one of the sax players of the world.

I just purchased Cool Edit Pro and thought it would be cool to record this quartet with just myself! This is the first time I've ever recorded multi-track so it has flaws of course, but there wasn't a recording of this up with the way it was written....for four trumpets. I'm not a very good player, but I thought, "what the heck". By the way...my sound isn't that thin...lol. I used a headset mic (like the ones on hands-free phones) thats made for talking online. Any sorry for the loud chord at the end...added it for fun since this is a new toy for me..lol

I have loved learning this track! I multitracked it and played all the horns myself (4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 1 tenor sax, 1 soprano)

I Love this quartet. I recorded it the first time in May of 2010 with a mic that was on a PC headset. I then posted it here with the horrid audio. However, a couple months later, I picked up a better mic (Zoom H2) and recorded it once more but never uploaded it here...sooo...after a couple years of it just sitting dormant on my PC, here it is again with a better mic (I'm playing all four parts again too). Would love to know what you all think! I will, however, be recording it AGAIN very soon now that I have a new ribbon mic.

Excellent melody and very nice balance between trumpets. I do prefer maybe a little the number 4 and 5. Really, congratulations!

This seems to be a better piece when played fast and bouncy, like lgdsanderson\'s

A fun piece; many thanks for the free music! It worked well as a lazy swing number on two cornets, baritone horn and tuba.

I'm transferring from french horn to trumpet for jazz band and this was a great piece to practice with. Thanks for the tune!
