Ajoutée par magataganm, 10 Fév 2020 Juan Fernandez de Madrid (before 1479) was a spanish singer and composer in the renaissance period. Little information has been obtained concerning the life of Juan Fernandez de Madrid. He was a singer in the royal chapel of Ferdinnd V but only after 1479. The vocal music which he composed consisted primarily of cancions, contrasting with the later favorite villancico. Stylistically he often used imitation in his writing most frequently occurring between the tenor and superius voices. Although originally composed for Chorus (ATB), I created this Interpretation of the "Por las gracias que tenéis" (Thanks for what we have) for String Trio (Violin , Viola & Cello). |
