Ajoutée par guilherme-luiz-fontao-da-silva, 11 Aoû 2021 João Daltro de Almeida has a degree in Violin, Viola and Chamber Music. He carried out his university studies under the guidance of distinguished professor Santino Parpinelli. Later, he exercised the Magisterium as professor at the Villa-Lobos School of Music. He has participated in the activities of more than 30 chamber and symphony ensembles across Brazil. For 20 years, he held the position of first violinist Spalla of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra and first violinist of the Brazilian Quartet of the UFRJ, also integrating the Duo Trindade-Daltro (Piano and Violin), when he recorded several CDs of works by the most important Brazilian music authors. He has performed as a soloist in several concerts in Brazil and abroad. Devoting himself fully to recitals and the teaching of chamber music, he recently received the JEAN SIBELIUS Medal of Merit from the Brazil-Finland Cultural Institute, and, thanks to a competition of examinations and titles, he occupies chair n ° 38 of the National Academy of Music. |
