Like Great Is Thy Faithfulness, it's a relative newcomer to the hymnal, and if you're hymnal is a hundred years old or so, it probably won't be in it. However, you can't print a new hymnal today without including The Old Rugged Cross! Update: A lady at my church was recently inquiring about a special for her to sing. I wanted to do a song she knew, so I thought of this one. Given the keys of the arrangement, though, the old one wasn't so great for singing along with. So, I have now prepared a second version, which goes from G to A-flat to A to B-flat. They're both pretty different, so enjoy the new one as well! | |||
