Alongside arrangements of the first 'Gymnopédie' by Satie and 'Morgenstimmung' by Edward Grieg, there are compositions such as 'E Shtikl Babier', 'Celtic Sibiria' or 'Tanz des Schmetterlings' in which Schmitz has incorporated world music, jazz or impressionistic influences.
