- Breslmair French Horn 3PG5-B; mouthpiece for French horn; developed together with Christian Pöttinger (horn player in the Bruckner Orchestra Linz); rim: 4.04mm; the inner rim is slightly rounded; the highest point was shifted slightly (0.3mm) outwards and the rim width was increased to 18.05mm; this measure gives the lip more space to vibrate; the rounded inner rim area with its flatter entry angle centers the lip towards the cup center; while the outer rim area comfortably supports the lip, the inner shape of the rim allows the lip cup to swing freely; the result is an ultimate playing feel in all registers; deep cup with wide bore for a soft, warm horn sound; bore: 4.5mm; stem: S (conical, German bore); silver-plated
