for Trumpet and Strings reduction for Trumpet Solo and Piano-Quintet for Trumpet and Strings was commissioned by and dedicated to Chris Gekker who premiered the work at the International Trumpet Guild convention in College Park Maryland in May of 1991. The work was later set with fullstring orchestra with the title “Concerto No. 2 for Trumpet and Strings”. Both versions as well as a trumpet/piano reduction are available from the publisher.

for Symphonic Band-Tattoo is the stirring Finale of Legacy commissioned for the bicentennial celebration of West Point. The opening theme is based on the bugle call which signals a return to quarters at day's end. The socre includes antiphonal effects with optional offstage bugles and field drum creating an authentic military sound. The old West Point song Benny Havens leads into the reemerging Tattoo theme now answered by other bugle calls bringing the work to a rousing conclusion. Dur: 6:00
