3. O Xi-Xi (Wee-wee) - a silly song

4. O ai, o linda! (Oh, the beauty!) - a lyrical romance

5. Coradinha (The blushing one) - a dance-like jaunt

6. Carro amaricano (American Car) - driving around in the auto

These movements are of contrasting styles and will make a lovely addition to your program.

Instrumentation is for 2 Trumpets in B-flat, Horn, Trombone & Tuba.

Italian Folksongs Medley is a collection of six popular traditional Italian and Neapolitan folksongs arranged for Brass Quintet. The Titles Include: 1. Bella Ciao 2. Funiculi, Funicula, 3. O Sole Mio, 4. Torna a Surriento (Come Back to Sorrento), 5. Santa Lucia and 6. Tarantella. The piece can be played as a medley with repeats as desired or as individual pieces. Ireland is sometimes referred to as the ? Emerald Isle ? due to its green countryside, first referred to in print by William Drennan in his poem "When Erin first rose". The folk music of Ireland is very engaging as evident in this setting of a medley of Irish folk songs. Included in this arrangement are: The Rocky Road to Dublin, The Banks of Moorlough Shore, Londonderry Air,The Daughters of Erin, The Minstral Boy and The Irish Washerwoman. There seems to be a dearth of literature for brass quintet that addresses the folk songs of Israel. ? Mazel Tov! ? is an arrangement of several of these folk tunes. Included are: Chusen Kala Mazel Tov, Avinu Malkenu, Hasidic Waltz, Dodi Li, I have a Little Dreidel, Hatikvah and Hava Nagilla. Arranging this piece was a way for me to research and hear most of this music for the first time. It is very playable and a nice addition to any program. I hope you enjoy playing it. Swiss Folk Song - Simelib�rg A beautiful traditional melody, describing heartache and loss of a man who went to war as a mercenary sometime in the 16th century, after he erroneously believed that he had killed a rival for the favours of a village girl. Upon returning home he found his rival alive but his beloved girl had died from heartache. Carefully arranged with some more modern arranging techniques. Easy playability for youth orchestras and ensembles.?
