Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522294 Composed by PAUL A. AND MARCIA L. JORG. Arranged by Paul A. Jorg. Christian,Gospel,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. Paul A. Jorg #2027759. Published by Paul A. Jorg (A0.522294). The following scriptures support the fact that God is a musician. He not only composes, but He SINGS! God composed a song which He gave to Moses to teach the children of Israel - The Song of Moses. Deut. 31:19 Now write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites and have them sing it....... The first lines of the song go like this: Deut. 32:1-4 Listen, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He. This song will be sung by the redeemed in heaven! Revelation 15:2,3 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb: Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. AND GOD SINGS! Zephaniah 3:17: The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with SINGING. I WANT TO BE THERE TO HEAR GOD SINGING UP IN GLORY!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1027467 Composed by Keane Southard. Contemporary. Octavo. 8 pages. Spindrift Pages #546435. Published by Spindrift Pages (A0.1027467). Do You Hear How Many You Are? for SATB choir was written in April and May of 2010. The origins of this piece and text come from a very interesting experience I had in December of 2009. I have been learning a lot in the past few years about the state of our world and the many huge problems and crises we are faced with in the near future, and this discovery has been so daunting and overwhelming to me. So much change needs to happen in order for the near and long-term future of our world to be just and stable that I have felt a lot of guilt over my choice of profession. Why have I chosen to be a composer and musician when I could make more of an impact on solving these problems if I were a scientist or policy maker etc.? I have been struggling to find a solution to this dilemma for a while now and I just happened to be thinking about it, while filled with lots of stress and worries, one night as I was falling asleep in December of 2009. At the moment when I was in that state halfway between sleep and consciousness, I suddenly heard the line Do you hear how many you are? in my head, yet I felt as though I didn't come up with the line but that it was said TO me. I was instantly comforted, as if a load fell off my shoulders, and then I began to hear it being sung, which I knew was the beginning of a choral piece. I woke up, wrote down the music I was hearing (about the first six measures of the work) and then wrote down this entire poem. I truly feel that this message came to me for a reason, and that I need to share it through the music I create. Those of us who want to change the world for the better are not alone; we are many and we will make our voices hear in order to heal the world. -Keane Southard Duration: c. 3 minutes -Winner, 2010 Ars Nova Singers Colorado Composers Competition (Professional Division) -1st Prize, Warren County Summer Music School's Promising Young Composers Competition, 2014 Premiered June 3, 2011 in Boulder, CO by the Ars Nova Singers, Thomas Morgan-conductor PROJECT : ENCOREâ„¢ has found this work to be of exceptional merit. Its panel of internationally known conductors has selected this work for inclusion in its catalog of recommended choral music. Website: keanesouthard.instantencore.com.

All Brass Radio Publishing #3566411. Published by All Brass Radio Publishing (A0.927020). Send Us On Your Way is a Christian Anthem that would be terrific for services that challenge people to take their faith into the world. It would also be great for graduation, communion, as a benediction, mission commissioning and any other service where the message is to take heart and bring your faith' to the world. Written for SATB with Piano Accompaniment. Here are the lyrics:Through the world’s confusion, we hear a hopeful sound; Stories You have given tell peace and joy are found. In the One Who rose again when death had had its day; We can travel bravelyfor He had been this way. (Knowing You) Knowing You have loved us so, we come to You and Pray for we ask [Chorus:] Send us on Your way Show us how to walk in grace. Keep us on the road of holy faith, Send us on Your way. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1158982 By Harry Styles. By Harry Styles, Thomas Hull, and Tyler Johnson. Arranged by Ed Aldcroft. A Cappella,Pop. Octavo. 6 pages. Ed Aldcroft #759220. Published by Ed Aldcroft (A0.1158982). An upbeat, jazz-infused arrangement of Harry Styles' extremely catchy song, suitable for 4-part community choirs. There's plenty of fun to be had with dynamic and textural contrast, and the song works acapella as well as with a simple chordal accompaniment. A simple beat from any kind of percussion (even just a simple off-beat click!) can add some extra rhythmic push if desired. The melody is shared across all four voices, so all your singers get their moment to shine!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1245807 Composed by Words: Johann Franck, tr. Catherine Winkworth / Music: Lyndell Leatherman. Arranged by Lyndell Leatherman. Advent,Christian,Religious,Sacred. Octavo. 1 pages. Leatherman Music Services #840637. Published by Leatherman Music Services (A0.1245807). This is the four-part hymn-style edition of this Eucharistic hymn, to facilitate congregational singing. As far as I am concerned, you may purchase the minimum amount of copies that SheetMusicPlus will allow, and then freely duplicate the song sheet for inclusion in worship bulletins. Other editions are available:A FESTIVAL CHOIR arrangement of this hymn is available here: https://www.arrangeme.com/title/436143A PIANO/ORGAN Duet of the hymn is available here: https://www.arrangeme.com/title/436144Here are some program notes: Johann Franck (1618-1677) was born in Guben, Germany, the son of a lawyer. Like his father, Johann studied law at the University of Konigsburg, where–in addition to his studies–he developed a warm friendship with a group of hymnists and poets. Returning home, he began his law practice and eventually became mayor of Guben. As an avocation, the Lutheran politician wrote poems–and soonbecame known as one of the leading hymnists of his time, ranked only behind Gerhard. He is credited for the creation of a group of so-called Jesus hymns, building the foundation for the pietistic hymn movement that would later sweep through Europe. Franck once wrote that poetry should be the nurse of piety, the herald of immortality, the promoter of cheerfulness, the conqueror of sadness, and a foretaste of heavenly glory. Indeed, his hymns echoed his own spirit of encouragement.Lyndell Leatherman (b. 1953) was born into a Nazarene parsonage in southeast Kansas. After studying church music and composition at Olivet Nazarene University (Kankakee, Illinois) and Illinois State University (Bloomington-Normal, Illinois), he launched into a life of music ministry. Since 1977 he has enjoyed a diverse career as church musician, editor, accompanist, composer, and arranger. In 1998 he became aware of Franck’s eucharistic / Advent hymn, translated either Deck Thyself with Joy and Gladness (Mattes) or Deck Thyself, My Soul, with Gladness (Winkworth). Because the text was unique in its unusually exultant treatment of the sacrament of holy communion, Lyndell felt that the hymn was worthy of renewed consideration in the third millennium of Christian worship. So he updated the language and gave it the new musical setting used here. ************It has long been my passion and privilege to create customized arrangements for the churches and schools with whom I have been associated. Many were published; some were not. During the 2020 slowdown caused by Covid-19, I finally had the time to start posting the unpublished resources on Sheet Music Plus. AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH - SEVEN ANTHEMS TO CHRIST

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.926660 Composed by Michael A. Morizio. A Cappella,Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 112 pages. M.A. Morizio #3588371. Published by M.A. Morizio (A0.926660). During the late spring of 2017, I began composing a new choral piece based on the 1 Timothy 3:16 text. I was studying Paul's first letter to Timothy at the time when this particular passage jumped out at me. Not only was it an efficient summary of the Gospel message, but it was also a textual grouping, or form, such as might be found in a traditional hymn. What I was reading were indeed lyrics to an actual 1st Century Hymn to Christ, the music of which has since been lost. I entitled my piece, Great is the Mystery. I composed the anthem for SATB (a cappella), and set it to the ESV translation of the scripture. Based on its context, I suspected the song would work great for Ascension Sunday. Our choir sang the piece beautifully, crescendoing at the finish to the words, Believed on in the world and taken up in glory! Later that spring, I played the piece for a dear friend of mine who is Pastor at Immanuel Church in Manchester, New Hampshire. What he told me was actually a bit stunning. He informed me that there were (at least) seven specific known Hymns to Christ written into the New Testament Scriptures, whose text is found among the writings of the apostles’ Paul and John. The 1 Timothy 3:16 verse that I had selected for my piece was indeed one of those texts. At that moment, Pastor Don and I made a pact. If he were to supply me with the literal Greek translations of the other six known Hymns to Christ, I would set out to compose brand new anthems for them all. A new musical collaboration had begun. With this short introduction serving as the genesis of my new song cycle, I offer you these new Seven Anthems to Christ based on the seven known ancient ‘Hymns to Christ' texts found in the New Testament.

SATB choir - Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: LX.10-2091R Composed by James R. Day. Te Deum Choral Series. Sacred Anthem. Octavo. Roger Dean Publishing #e10/2091R. Published by Roger Dean Publishing (LX.10-2091R). UPC: 000308043853.You Are My Light is the final movement of a seven section work for chorus, orchestra, and narrator entitled The World Come Of Age. Written to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of World War II, this work is based on the writings, imprisonment, and martyrdom of German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The entire work is based on the hymn tune Vater Unser (Geistlich Leider,1539). As I completed the work, it became more apparent that I had not completely addressed the suffering of the Jewish people. My solution was to add one final movement to serve as a memorial based on -Ani Ma'Am in the 12th century tune often sung by the Jewish people in the Nazi concentration camps. The final statement of this theme is sung concurrently with the Christian theme, Vater Unser, with both joining together in a psalm of David. You are my light. You are my song. Of whom shall I be afraid?

Artist of Note, Inc. #1067943. Published by Artist of Note, Inc. (A0.1491475). O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing Text by Charles Wesley/Music by Ken Litton (ASCAP) SATB mixed voices, accompanied optional Flute/C intrument The stanzas of the text are combined here and some of its expressions personalized in order to emphasize the confident prayer of praise. And though the music is a little more meditative than many tunes, it is still in keeping with the original expression that helped give rise to the hymn: “Had I a thousand tongues, I would praise Him with them all!” After the piano and flute introduction, the new tune is lightly harmonized in both stanzas, but each has it’s own unique voicing at My gracious Master and You break the power, respectively. The brief flute/C instrument solo can add a lot to the piece, but an optional cut from the end of m.41 to m.59 and on to the key change could be offered in the score. After the key change the melody returns in unison, followed by a worshipful close.

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1012606 Composed by Michelle Kraak. Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred. 16 pages. Michelle Kraak #6102931. Published by Michelle Kraak (A0.1012606). The Betrayal is written for choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). It is a religious piece based on the passion of Christ. It has aspects of imitation, with a lot of independence in the parts. The vocal parts represent the voice of Jesus, the voices of those who crucified him, a narrator, and also briefly the voice of Peter, Jesus' disciple. The bass primarily sings the role of the people who called for his death, but as the piece continues others join in this role. I wrote some of the lyrics and also pulled some verses in from the Bible. I think this would be a great piece for Holy Week, perhaps on Good Friday or Maundy Thursday. the piece captures some of the intense emotions involved in the crucifixion and would make a great addition to Lenten music in the church. Lyrics:Why did you leave me?Why did you run?I absolved you of your sin. Jesus Christ must die for what he's done. I absolved you of your sin,I saved you from yourselves,I just wanted to lead you,Closer to God. Death! I wanted to give you new life. Three times you will deny me, Woman I do not know him! Jesus Christ must die for what he's done. Why did you leave me? Why did you run?I absolved you of your sin.I saved you from yourselves,I just wanted to lead you, Closer to God. Jesus I didn't know him.I don't know the man! Jesus Christ must die for what he's done. Peter struck him!Cut off his ear,Jesus touched him and healed him,Though the man had come for him. Jesus Christ must die for what he's done. Why should Jesus die for what he's done? Why did I forsake the Son of God?I'd have called for him to be crucified. We are no better,Then the past. Why did you forsake me,Why did you forsake me? Forgive them,For they do not know what they're doing. Forgive them,For they do not know what they're doing. Betrayed with a kiss. Three LatinElegies to Lesbiais a setting of three poems written by the ancient Roman poet, Gaius ValeriusCatullus (84-54 B.C.E.). His muse in these poems is understood to beLesbia, the name believed to have been given by Catullus to his mistress.Lesbia was really Clodia, the sexually promiscuous wife of proconsul QuintusCaecilius Metellus Celer. Clodia was said to have many lovers, and Catullus’torment and obsession for her is well documented in 13 of his poems where thename, Lesbia, is used. His first poem addressed to Lesbia (Catullus 51) is a freetranslation of a poem by the ancient Greek poet, Sappho. Scholars havesuggested that Catullus chose the name, Lesbia, because of his affinity forSappho, who it is believed was a lesbian.<br> <br> Odie et Amo (Catullus 85), one of the mostcelebrated elegiac couplets composed by Catullus, has inspired many composers withits duality of emotions. The most well-known setting is from Carl Orff’s Catulli Carmina, part of Trionfi, themusical triptych that also includes the Carmina Burana andTrionfo di Afrodite. Unlike Orff’s driving rhythms of outwardlyexpressive anguish, my setting is a more introspective interpretation. It is asif the music is surrendering to the mercurial personalities that Catullus andall humans possess, the tortured ability to hate and love at the same time.<br> <br> Lesbia mi dicit semper male (Catullus 92) consists of two elegiaccouplets. Catullus’ earlier poem, 83,brings some context to 92. In thefirst part of 83, Catullus says:<br> <br> Lesbia keeps insulting me in front of her husband:<br> <br> thisfills the fatuous idiot with delight.<br> <br> Mule, doyou perceive nothing? If she shut up and ignored me<br> <br> that’dshow healthy indifference;…<br> <br> In 92, Catullus expounds on the idea of whyLesbia insults him in front of her husband. Catullus reckons that he is alwayscursing her, and he loves her. She always curses him, so she must love him aswell. In his desperation, Catullus uses his wit and humor to reason that hisobsessive love for Lesbia is reciprocated. This setting of 92 uses incessant driving rhythms in the women’s voices to paint thewords, “Lesbia mi dicit semper male nec tacetumquam de me” (Lesbia always speaks ill of me, never shuts up about me). The repeating rhythmsreturn in the men’s voices when Catullus says he does the same, “quia sunt totidem mea: deprecor illamassidue” (…it’s the same with me: I’m continually complaining.) The piececomes to a final rest after Catullus realizes the he will always be cursed tolove her.<br> <br> Mea Lesbia (Catullus 87) also consists of twoelegiac couplets. Catullus was only one of Lesbia’s many lovers, and he oftenwrote of his jealousy and disdain for her unfaithful actions. This elegy waswritten at a time when Lesbia had been particularly cruel toward Catullus.Despite being broken hearted, his obsession with her never waned. In hisdespair and desperation, he basically says, “My love for you is so great thatno other woman could possibly even know what love is.” This setting of 87 returns to a more introspectivenature where Catullus surrenders his love forever to Lesbia.

Anthem of the “All nations will be perished, and the world must uniteâ€Â Colorful Number One Scholar October 3, 2023 The world was originally no any nations. The land was plundered and divided into territories.Colonize first after occupying a frontier; If you had formed a country, you must raise an army.Warfare is a deadly killing weapon,The saints use it when there are no other satisfied ways.Today's world is in ruins. The United States, China, Russia, and European Union compete. Each of them wants to dominate the world. They don't want to be cooperative diligently; They use the dirty tricks instead; They use every possible means for cunning. When the saint raises only one foot high,While the devil has already jumped ten feet tall. They are blind at what the Doomsday is coming,They still love to rob and snatch. They would like to die together; You die and I die, too. What a shame. The human body contains cells. All cells have membranes. With membranes they know how to be selfish.Selfish genes have played an important role in evolution.Love yourself and your country is only a low level of selfishness; Sacrifices oneself and destroys countries are the high level of selfishness: The world must be for the global public welfare. It is really a kind of selfish seeking benefit only for human beings. Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus divisi - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1487909 Composed by Stanley M Hoffman. Arranged by Stanley M Hoffman. 20th Century,Classical,Jewish. 12 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #1064840. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.1487909). Composer’s Notes Anim Zemiros was composed in 1985 while I was a doctoral student of Martin Boykan at Brandeis University. The initial fugal theme was inspired by the melody from the third movement of Beethoven's Quartet in A Minor, Op. 132, also known as Heiliger Dankgesang. My theme resembles Beethoven's melody in two ways: it aurally approximates the rhythms of his theme and it also takes the contour of Beethoven's melody and inverts it, also in an approximated way. This is where the similarities to Beethoven's theme end, forAnim Zemiros is most certainly not composed in the Lydian mode! Rather, it is composed in a chromatically saturated musical language. Although Anim Zemiros may be used for the Jewish Musaf Sabbath Service, it was conceived as a concert piece. In the synagogue, this hymn is sung responsively by the cantor and congregation. The responsive nature of this hymn is what inspired the use of contrapuntal passages alternating with homophonic ones. Anim Zemiros begins with a statement of the initial fugal theme in the basses followed by a response at the interval of a fifth in the altos during which the basses present the counter theme. After a brief episode, the same thing happens in the tenor and soprano voices while the basses and altos present new contrapuntal melodies. A brief, contrasting, calm homophonic chorale passage ensues (a textural foreshadowing of both the loud climax and the hushed closing of the piece). This is followed by an extended development section (like ones from sonata-allegro movements) in which ideas from both the contrapuntal and homophonic sections are fragmented and stratified. Shifting time signatures provide added momentum to this music that leads to the homophonic climax that follows. Next comes an “anti-fugue” in which the initial fugal theme is presented backwards, as is the fugal form itself, moving from four voices, to three and finally to two. However, rather than moving to one voice as at the opening of the piece (which would have been a very predictable thing to do), the piece ends with a reminiscence of the calm homophonic chorale. Ashkenazic pronunciation was chosen over Sephardic for two reasons. I wished to have the s sound on the Hebrew letter sov rather than the t sound. In addition, Ashkenazic pronunciation is considered to be somewhat archaic since Sephardic is used in modern Hebrew. I felt this gave me artistic license to compose vocal lines containing correct or incorrect syllabic stress for purely musical effect. I deemed it necessary to state this at the outset of the score, lest one think that this composition contains errors in text-setting.Ashkenazic Transliteration An-im zemiros veshirim e-erog,Ki eilecho nafshi sa-arog.Naf-shi chimedo betseil yodecho,Loda-as kol roz sodecho,Midei daberi bichevodecho,Ho-me libi el dodecho.Ye-eravno sichi olecho,Ki nafshi sa-arog eilecho.English TranslationI will chant sweet hymns and compose songs,For my soul pants after you.My soul has longed to be beneath the shadow of your hand,To know all of your mysteries.Even while I speak of your glory,My heart yearns for your love.May my meditation be pleasant unto you,For my soul pants after you.

SATB chorus divisi - Digital Download SKU: BJ.1231 Composed by Enrico Miaroma. Secular. Octavo. 16 pages. Bo Ejeby Forlag - Digital #1231. Published by Bo Ejeby Forlag - Digital (BJ.1231). 8.27 x 11.7 inches.Contents:My song FarewellTwo compositions to lyrics by Indian Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore: My Song and Farewell. Enrico Miaroma, Italian composer and choral conductor, writes about the pieces: Farewell was composed in 2011 for a youth choir of 45 young adults, working and having fun together in Arco (Trentino), for one marvellous week together with Gary Graden and myself. My aim was to compose a piece that young choristers would appreciate after intense and joyful days together. Through my music I wanted to share the range of emotions and the hardship of parting when they were to go home to their native countries again. The choice of such a beautiful and evocative text helped me a great deal to achieve this. Farewell is recorded by S:t Jacobs Chamber Choir and Gary Graden on the cd To the Field of Stars (Footprint Records FRCD 083). My Song is like a little brother to Farewell. From the very beginning, I had a strong feeling that the assonance between the words of the title, 'my song', and 'my son', was intended by the poet. Throughout the composing process, this kept coming back to me, bringing my little son, Giovanni, who is four years old, to mind. I would like My song to be a gift from a father to his son, for his future life: 'This song of mine, my child, will wind its music around you'.John Quinn, MusicWeb International on Enrico Miaroma and Farewell: The choral writing is rich and he harnesses the emotions in the text most effectively. It's an eloquent piece, very well written for voices and it conveys well, I think, some of the emotions of valediction, including dignity..

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.835452 Composed by Stuart Brown. 20th Century,Contemporary,World. Octavo. 211 pages. Stuart Brown Music #5990681. Published by Stuart Brown Music (A0.835452). A fantastic offer price for the full score and all parts! ... Looking for something to add a sense of oriental exoticism to your amateur orchestral/choral concert? This may be what you're looking for! This charming little suite of six dances lasts about 15½ minutes. It consists of a Pavane, Bourée, Sarabande, Allemande, Basse Danse and Galliard, which vary widely in character. As a whole the suite provides some interesting challenges for both performers and listeners. Apart from conventional strings, flute and harp (which can be either pedal or lever) you will need:- One or maybe two Arabian ouds. The parts are playable also on a fretless acoustic guitar. (Needs to be fretless because of the quarter-tones in some of the Arabic modes used.)- A cimbalom (the part can be played on a piano also, with slight modification). You might get away with using a hammered dulcimer but you'd need to make a number of compromises.- A doumbek and a djembe. These beautiful drums are a must for Middle-Eastern or African music. They're fairly easy to find, though finding somebody who can play them properly may take a bit more doing!- Finger cymbals and a gong. These are regular western instruments.- A wind-chime. Anything that produces a nice shimmering spangle of sound will probably do!- A group of singers (SATB). Nothing particularly challenging but see below. The primary oud part, the strings and the singers need to have sufficiently good intonation to pitch quarter tones. These are the exception rather than the rule, but nevertheless play an important part in the character of the music. Apart from this, the music is relatively straightforward and probably playable by any reasonably competent amateur or high school orchestra. In the spring of 2020 I wrote a set of short music tracks for a charity of which I'm a trustee. In order to protect my intellectual property rights in the music, I decided to bring it together into an attractive if not intellectually challenging little suite, hence An Omani Dance Suite. Originally the dances were all in Arabic quarter-tone temperament, but obviously quarter-tones cannot be played easily (if at all) on the flute, harp and cimbalom. So I have made some adjustments but retained the Arabic temperament wherever reasonably possible. I had thought initially of using a santur instead of a cimbalom, but the santur lacks the range and the dynamic capability to be used with a string chamber orchestra. The cimbalom doesn't need to be a concert grand model; in fact it doesn't even need to have dampers. The Omani was something of an afterthought: a musician friend of mine had worked in Oman and commented on how authentically Omani the Basse Danse sounded. The period of composition coincided with a time when I was really missing friends in Vietnam and Romania, so somehow influences from those countries found their way into the music.I'm not bothering with performing rights for this - just go away and enjoy the music! ... but if it inspires you find out more about the charity work that inspires me, feel free to get in touch!https://www.facebook.com/stuartbrownmusic/

There are many people on the planet that have issues that need to be dealt with and I believe that one way that they can help themselves is by trying to thing of the times where things weren't so bad. Even if they were bad, those memories should be the reminders to help you grow throughout life. This is the message that I am trying to portray with Those Memories. At the age of 15, I had a vision to help people not to forget the good and the bad moments of their lives because once the memories are forgotten, people will never be able to go back and tell stories about how they developed and came to be.  Some of the lyrics were picked from a poem that was written 4 years ago in 2016 called One Brief Moment by John Fleming. The poem was found on a website that provides poems to those who like reading poems. The website is called poetrysoup.com and I think it's a pretty cool website for poem readers, so if you like poems and you want something new, you can go there and check it out. I hope you all enjoy the piece as much as I had fun writing it. Haha.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799640 Composed by D. M. Gardner. 20th Century,Contemporary. Octavo. 34 pages. D. M. Gardner Music #50653. Published by D. M. Gardner Music (A0.799640). Caffeinated Dreams is a humorous piece that pokes fun at high-dollar coffee by depicting a figurative monkey that is constantly trying to steal your latte. Anyone who has had the need for a nice warm caramel latte on a cold day (or any day) will enjoy this composition. Caffeine addicted people everywhere understand how difficult it is to get that monkey off your back... The one that's always telling you to cut back on your coffee habit. Watch out, or he'll steal your latte too! Caffeinated Dreams was inspired by the large number of coffee shops in Omaha, Nebraska, specifically one called Caffeine Dreams. If you are ever in the area, you should check it out. Also of note, there are small humorous illustrations throughout the score and parts to help inspire the performers. Perhaps you could attempt to get a local establishment to let you sing this piece for acup of java. I would.Humorous - You and your audience will love this piece!SATB/Solo Monkey with Conga, Bass Drum, Claves, Sand Block**Please note the MIDI audio sample does not reproduce any of the choir's non-singing vocalizations, of which there are many. Additionally, no monkey could be reached in time to make this recording, so that too is omitted. That being said, I think you will still very much enjoy this piece!Premiere: University of Nebraska at Omaha - University ChorusDifficulty: Moderate - A great piece for just about any choir...but especially for those old enough to drink a lot of coffee.Approx. 2 minutes and 30 seconds in lengthTo learn more about the composer, please visit https://www.dmgardner.com

Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1381069). An allusion to Lamentations 1:12 (Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow....), Have, Have Ye No Regard is a setting for solo baritone, SATB voices, and organ of Robert Herrick's (1591-1674) poem, His Saviour's Words, Going to the Cross:Have, have ye no regard, all ye Who pass this way, to pity Me, Who am a man of misery? A man both bruis'd and broke, and one Who suffers not here for Mine own, But for My friends' transgression! Ah, Sion's daughters, do not fear The Cross, the Cords, the Nails, the Spear, The Myrrh, the Gall, the Vinegar, For Christ, your loving Saviour, hath Drunk up the wine of God's fierce wrath; Only there's left a little froth, Less for to taste than for to show What bitter cups had been your due, Had he not drank them up for you.©Copyright 2024 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music.
