This All-American song in praise of baseball, Take Me Out to the Ball Game, is beloved by girls and boys, men and women, old and young. This easy-to-play arrangement is for two to five lever OR pedal harps. The set contains Score, Harp 1, Harp 2-3, and Harp 4-5. Harp 1 has the melody, and has five lever changes (only F sharp lever is needed). The Harp 2-3 part can be played by one person, or split into two even easier parts (treble clef / bass clef). The Harp 4-5 part is optional and can also be played by one person or split into two even easier parts. Bennett says: My student ensemble plays this at a senior assisted-living home every summer, and the audience loves to sing along. We like to wear our baseball caps when we play it!

This hauntingly beautiful three-part harp ensemble was commissioned for the opening of a new 2000-seat concert facility, Strathmore Music Hall, in Bethesda, Maryland. Dance of the Harps is presented with an underlying 3/4 accompaniment of swaying rhythm. The melody is shared between the first and second parts, while the third part provides underlying rhythm. The melody develops and expands and is followed by a sharply contrasting middle section, which is much faster and jig-like. In this section, the harps let loose in their dance, which has become spirited and playful. Following this faster middle section, the ensemble returns to the original melody, but with greater intensity and rhythmic vitality. As the piece comes to its dramatic conclusion, layer upon layer of rich harmonies unfold and become increasingly intense, culminating in a bell-like explosion of syncopated celebratory sound. The piece can be played by an ensemble of all level intermediate lever or pedal harpists, as each of the three parts is written with a different degree of technical difficulty.

On Christmas night all Christians sing to hear the news the angels bring.<br> On Christmas night all Christians sing to hear the news the angels bring. <br> News of great joy, news of great mirth, <br> News of our merciful King's birth!<br> <br> This joyous Christmas song was first published by Luke Wadding, an Irish bishop, in a 17th century collection called Small Garland of Godly and Pious Songs. It became known as Sussex Carol in the early 20th century upon being collected by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, who heard it being sung by a folk singer in Sussex, England. He later included it in his choral settings, Eight Traditional English Carols and Fantasia on Christmas Carols.<br> <br> This lever harp arrangement is in the key of G (with a short section in D mixolydian for variety, from measures 56 to 65). There are no lever changes. This is an easy arrangement of the beautiful song from the movie/musical "Anastasia." It is in the key of A minor. For lever harpists, there is one sharp. For pedal harpists, there are only a few times the musician needs to change a pedal, and it is with the same pedal throughout the entire song. Brackets are in the form of lines above the numbers that indicate the fingering. Parenthesis around a note mean that it is optional, but is there to provide more harmonic information. The original arrangement of this piece has very rich harmonies. It was my goal to create a song that was approachable for harpists of every level!

The music is graduated from two fingers to playing with both hands. The music is labeled to allow the students to gradually learn the notes and fingering without stress or frustration. The method contains lessons on the parts of the harp, tuning, stringing, and taking care of your instrument. Also included in the method are reading music, time signatures and counting, placing and bracketing, finger drills, and much more. It became known as Sussex Carol in the early 20th century upon being collected by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, who heard it being sung by a folk singer in Sussex, England. He later included it in his choral settings, Eight Traditional English Carols and Fantasia on Christmas Carols.<br> <br> This pedal harp arrangement is in the key of G flat (with a short section in D flat mixolydian for variety, from measures 56 to 65). There are no pedal changes. <br> <br> The right hand has the melody most of the time, with the left hand accompanying; but the left hand gets to take center stage from measures 33 through 47; again from measures 86 through 89; and again at the end, from measures 100 through 106. <br> <br> Ive also made a lever harp arrangement of this song, which is similar except that its in the key of G.
