Main theme for the 1986 film The Mission, "Gabriel's Oboe" was written by Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Vocalist Sarah Brightman's song "Nella Fantasia" is set to the melody. This beautiful duet is adapted from cellist Yo-Yo Ma's rendition in his album Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone.

Gabriel's Oboe is a beautiful theme from "The Mission" composed by Ennio Morricone. This is an unique arrangement for two Cellos and Piano, with Cellos technique elements used by Yo-Yo Ma in "Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone", a 2004 album of recordings from Morricone's various film scores with collaboration between cellist Yo-Yo Ma and composer Ennio Morricone.
