C'est pourquoi nous tenons depuis plusieurs années à combler d'éventuelles lacunes des candidats sur le plan théorique. On présente à tort la théorie musicale comme une matière rébarbative, alors qu?elle n?est que l?apprentissage d?un outil indispensable à qui veut vraiment pénétrer les arcanes des oeuvres. Aussi avons-nous choisi de placer en fin de volume une petite ?mise à niveau solfégique?, pour ceux qui en ont besoin. Les ?uvres de Debussy et Ravel imposées cette année sont difficiles pour qui souhaite aller à fond dans leur étude. Et nous espérons que ces petits ?mémentos? aideront les plus démunis. Comme nous le redirons plus loin, les analyses sont conçues pour les plus exigeants d?entre eux. Nous avons fait en sorte que ceux qui souhaitent se limiter à l?essentiel puissent le faire.
