French born harpist and composer Marcel Grandjany (1891-1975) studied at the Paris Conservatoire before spending much of his working life in America. His Rhapsodie For Harp was composed in 1921 and is a sublime addition to the Harp's repertoire. Arranged for Harp-“Fields of Gold” is a beautiful song composed by Sting on the album Ten Summoner’s Tales. It is a hugely popular piece often being performed at weddings. This piece offers two arrangements by Sylvia Woods that can be played on either the lever or pedal Harp. Both arrangements are four pages long including chord symbols and fingerings. Both arrangements are in the key of C and no pedal or lever changes are needed. The intermediate arrangement requires a Harp range of 22 strings or 3 octaves from C to C the advanced beginner arrangement requires 19 strings from F up to C.
