Johnnie has done a wonderful job of adapting this familiar holiday song for beginning players. Featuring a very melodic theme and rich harmonies this will sound great with any band!

(Based on Ukrainian Bell Carol)-Robert Buckley has taken a rhapsodic approach to this version of the familiar Ukrainian Bell Carol mixing original ideas along with the well-known melody. Every section of the band gets a chance to shine in this dazzling and skillfully crafted holiday production number perfect for mature ensembles.

Master Level (correlates with Book 2 p. 32) Here's the famous march from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker in a skillfully arranged version for young bands. The arrangement features a delicate opening by the percussion section and also carefully introduces two important rhythmic concepts to the band-the triplet and the dotted 8th and 16th note pattern. Interesting counterpoint brings the minor key 'Ballad of John Riley' to your band with style.
