The Rock And Pop Rhythm Workouts For The Modern Drummer contains a carefully selected series of rhythm and fill exercises aimed at developing both the beginner and intermediate student's reading, timing, technique, feel and stylistic awareness. The exercises are accompanied by 8 original songs in different styles that can be used for practicing range, in tempo from 70bpm to 140bpm.Dave Odart is a full time professional musician, experienced teacher and composer working from his home studio in Shropshire and for the local authority teaching in schools and colleges. He organises his own examination centre for Trinity College London candidates and his students have achieved a 100% pass rate with over 300 candidates successfully taking examinations since 2010.Dave was commissioned to write six technical exercises for the Trinity College London 2014 Drum Kit examination syllabus and works closely with other professional musicians to ensure that the best quality music education programme is available to all of his students.
