Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (Magic Flute) Opera was premiered in 1791, just two months before his untimely death. The Overture was composed after completion of the Opera and includes three Trombones, adding a rich timbre to the orchestral sound.
Randall Malmstrom has once again done a brilliant job arranging this great music for an 8-part Trombone ensemble (octet) of advanced performers.
