Choir and their founder, Pamela Cook, The Good-Morrow is Howard Goodall?s stunning setting of the John Donne poem, for upper voices and piano. The universal themes of love, compassion and togetherness are echoed in the music, a reflective and uplifting choral work ideal for concert performance.

The Dream Of Gerontius was composed in 1900 for the Birmingham Music Festival. It was a large-scale work for chorus soloists and orchestra setting a poem by Cardinal John Henry Newman. The section of the text beginning Praise To The Holiest had already been set and popularised to an Anglican hymn tune but Elgar shunned this version preferring to write his own melody. This has been arranged here for female chorus with Piano accompaniment. Edward Elgar (1857-1934) is one of England’s best-known and most-loved composers. He was self-taught as composer coming from outside the musical and social establishment whichallowed his music to be fresh and unencumbered.

Cecilia McDowall's Night Flight for SSATB and Cello.Night Flight was written to mark the centenary of Harriet Quimby's pioneering flight across the English channel. Setting texts by Sheila Bryer on the mysterious powers of the sea earth and air McDowall uses vocal clusters and haunting solo Cello lines to highlight the sense of fear awe and majesty experienced by an individual pitted against the elements. Cecilia McDowall was awarded the 2014 British Composer Award in the Choral category for Night Flight.The solo Cello part is available for sale separately.

Sleepsong is a rich, Celtic-inspired song for choirs looking to test their abilities with a new and exciting challenge. Released by Secret Garden in 2005, the song was written by Brendan Graham and Rolf Løvland who also penned the Westlife hit, You Raise Me Up . This beautiful and peaceful choral version has been arranged by Desmond Earley for six part chorus with Soprano solo. It was first performed by UCD Choral Scholars on April 19 2012. The piece is perfect for choruses looking to take their singing forward, with specific directions for staggered breathing throughout offering an added challenge for ensembles.
