Par DOBSON SIMON. Le DAvailable a été initialement commandé comme l'éprouvette set pour la Section B du championnat 2007 EuAvailableean Brass Band. Le compositeur a depuis certains documents originaux retravaillé et étendu à la pièce, donc en le renommant ' The DAvailable : remixé '. ' La DAvailable : remixé ' tire son inspiration de nombreuses formes de musique, mais surtout de Drum ' ne Bass - bien qu'il ne cite pas directement ou ne sonore comme ce médium lui-même. Dobson a été introduit à ce milieu grâce à des amis qui étaient des DJs et découvert que cette forme d'art est complexe, passionné (dans ses formes les plus souterrains ou none-mainstream) et intimement composée comme toute autre forme de musique. Les travaux commencent avec le tourner sur une platine comme peut être entendu dans le gauchissement de la partie de trombone près de son départ. Le compositeur a essayé d'éviter une forme plus régulière en faveur d'un mélange de styles, de la même façon qu'un DJ serait mélanger des enregistrements de différents styles pour créer le son et l'atmosphère, ils étaient look.../ Répertoire / Brass Band

This plant munching beast weighted approximately 20 tons, and could measure up to 30 metres from head to tail. The dinosaur lived in North America during the Jurassic period. This piece describes the carefree nature of a Diplodocus. A life with no natural enemies, and with an exceptionally small brain. To the conductor: The drum set part (Perc. 1) can be played as written, or ad lib. There is also a simplified drum set part that can replace Perc 1. if needed. The titles can be presented on the programme as separate works but the Universal Band Collection can also be performed as a complete suite. From a didactic point of view it is a suitable work to teach musicians something about the structure in music. For this purpose not only the big structure but also the small structure was kept very clear. Western Girl : A girl from the west of the USA rides her horse across the prairie, dreaming of her future. The rough structure: introduction - theme in a blues scale - the same thing in a different instrumentation - finale. Just a ballad : A balladin pop style with a rough A-B-A form. First there is the introduction of the main theme (A), then follows a tenor melody in minor with a rhythmical reference to the main theme (B). Finally there is the main melody, performed tutti with a different rhythm in the drums (A'). Play the Game : An English saying meaning: play fairly. Playful music in up-tempo with a wink to China, where almost all games are manufactured nowadays. Once again an A-B-A structure here. San Diego : A Mexican fugitive enjoys his freedom in America but also remembers his place of birth with melancholy. A sad minor melody with a straight trendy beat appears twice. The second time it has a slightly different instrumentation, in which the muted trumpets represent the Mexican feeling.
