Le premier livre contient les plus populaires airs traditionnels qui, l'éditeur se sent, devrait avoir une place dans le répertoire de tous les musiciens qui résident dans ces îles, quelle que soit leur spécialisation choisie. Cet deuxième livre contient plus de ce répertoire de base, mais aussi a quelques morceaux plus intéressant ainsi que certains plus récente musique composée en idiomes traditionnels. Ici, l'équilibre est pondéré en un peu plus en faveur des plus lentes tunes - sans raison particulière. Comme dans le premier livre les harmonies ont été écrits ne pas être facile ou difficile, mais être musical. Je tiens à remercier Stewart Hardy pour eux tout au long de jouer avec moi et de faire de nombreuses suggestions utiles dont j'ai été heureux d'inclure. Flexions suggérées sont incluses dans les arrangements.
