The Two-part Inventions offer a unique challenge to the solo guitarist which is to master the never-ending array of left-hand finger combinations and positions while preserving clarity between the two voices. It goes without saying that the Two-part Inventions offer a wealth of technical and musical challenges. For the student who wishes to improve his or her sight-reading ability these transcriptions will serve admirably well; and for the serious musician who is always seeking out new repertoire these transcriptions will be well suited for performance.

J'ai gardé tant que possible les tonalités originales - le ton original est donné en début de morceau quand il y a eu transposition - et quelques reports d'octave ont été nécessaires pour rester fidèle à l'esprit de l'original.
