Bärenreiter's new scholarly-critical edition of Gabriel Fauré's evergreen, the Pavane op. 50, has been edited by Robin Tait as part of the 'Complete Works of Gabriel Fauré?.The popularity of the work is mostly attributed to its many arrangements but the original version for orchestra is being published here for the first time. Carl Orff écrit son petit monde-Théâtre 'Der Mond' (la Lune), basé sur les fables anciennes, de 1936 à 1938. La partition écrite pour les acteurs qui chantent, un narrateur et un grand orchestre, contient également les parties importantes pour bande. Quatre scènes ont été sélectionnés pour les dispositions actuelles qui sont mieux effectuées sur des ensembles d'instruments différents. L'arrangeur, Hermann Regner (né en 1928), a collaboré très étroitement avec Carl Orff pendant de nombreuses années.
