Composée au printemps 2020, la pièce décrit une ascension implacable se déroulant en deux temps.
Chacune de ces deux parties s?apparente à une forme de rituel où divers motifs mélodiques semblent se superposer sur une base rythmique quasi percussive. Tous ces éléments se déploient dans un registre particulier, avec leur propre modalité et leurs propres contours mélodiques d'où une conception polyphonique de l'écriture instrumentale qui caractérisait également certaines de mes pièces précédentes comme Nun Komm pour violon ou Cantus I pour violoncelle.
Rythmes obstinés, foisonnements mélodiques, incantations multiples, cet hymne à la nature, après avoir conduit son processus de développement jusqu'à son sommet, semble revenir, au moment de conclure, au point de départ comme dans un éternel recommencement.

The first volume of the Complete Flute Method by Giuseppe Gariboldi this edition has been reviewed and edited by Jan Merry. Broadway by Special Arrangement is a collection of eleven songs arranged for the instrumentalist wanting to play in a Jazz style -without the need to learn to improvise. The 'classically' trained amateur or professional performer or the intermediate-level student (III-IV) will enjoy playing these expertly arranged Broadway melodies just for fun or to include as a light piece on a recital or solo-feature concert performance.
