Justin Miller the amazing conductor of the Westminster Men's Chorus launches his choral series with this beautiful work by Richard Burchard. This is a complex piece with multiple divisi two solo parts and a text about visions and dreams based on Acts 2:17-18. Rather than English Burchard selected Latin which is more fitting for the concert hall. Your male choir's efforts will be well-rewarded with a significant artistic statement. Difficult but worth the effort.

Jameson Marvin Choral Series-This delicate and sensitive new arrangement of Stephen Foster's beloved I Dream Of Jeanie is arranged for the Harvard Glee Club by its former director Jameson Marvin. This Americanclassic is worthy of any fine men's choir. With counterpoint for all voices a melody that is passed between voices and a chance to feature a Baritone soloist this is a welcome addition to the male chorus library.

The text of The Long Day Closes is a contemplation of death and was sung frequently at funerals in the late 1800’s particularly the funerals of members of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company. This setting uses the full range of allthe Voice parts.Composer Arthur Sullivan is known the world over for his operatic collaborations with W S Gilbert including H M S Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance among many others. But Sullivan was also a composer of manother works among them operas Orchestral works ballets and hymns and church pieces. He wrote most of his part songs unaccompanied songs for SATB usually before his partnership with Gilbert began.
