Although many of the greatest composers from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods did not write for marimba, their works are still available and are perfectly suited for this instrument. Many of these works were written for violin and contain bowings and fingerings that assist in the stylistic interpretation for violin but do not apply to marimba. To that end, Tammy Chen has arranged a collection of outstanding pieces that work perfectly for marimba. To aid the performer in developing a musical interpretation of these master works, she added stylistic markings including phrasing, articulations and musical directives. Depuis Lin Chin Cheng commence son voyage musical en provenance de Taiwan à l'Australie et de l'Australie à la Belgique, il a représenté plusieurs concerts importants tels que les performances réalisées en Australie et pour les échanges culturels avec la Chine et Singapour groupe. Il a disputé son premier récital première Taipei 2002, a rejoint le 'BA-DA groupe de percussions Boom' et était un navire de formation de 'KARAK duo de percussion'. Il a participé au Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra en tournée dans le Queensland. Il a complété sa spécialisation étude marimba avec Ludwig Albert et la composition avec Alain Craens au Conservatoire Royal d'Anvers, en Belgique.Aujourd'hui, Lin Chin Cheng est un artiste concert à partir de projets de Marimba en Belgique et en Nouvelle Art Inc à Taiwan et endosseur de Resta maillets en France. Par AHO KALEVI. Kalevi Aho's Solo XV for marimba and three triangles (2018) proceeds to a motor-like beat in music dominated by semiquavers momentarily interrupted by eight short triangle entries. The triangle parts gradually get longer towards the end, and during them the soloist has a chance to change the marimba sticks from soft to hard and back. The triangles also create an ethereal, lingering contrast to the motoric music. Solo XV was composed in November 2018 as a Christmas present for Austrian percussionist Martin Grubinger, who had performed Aho's percussion concerto Sieidi dozens of times in many countries.
