Scored for clarinet, cello and piano Clarinet Trio (BH 12624) is in three movements, with a total duration of 20 minutes. The first movement, 'Ljud stort, ljud' (Sound big, sound), was commissioned in 2008 to celebrate the centenary of Svenska kulturfonden. 'Som det stilla vi söker' (Like the tranquillity we seek) and 'Slå våg, slå' (Crash wave, crash) were commissioned in the same year by the Bergen International Festival. Mickey Baker, connu pour son hit Mickey and Love Slyvia est étrange, vit en France depuis les trente dernières années de sa vie. Pendant ce temps, il joue du jazz ainsi que se plonger de nouveau dans les racines de la musique noire américaine. En conséquence, il a commencé à expérimenter avec différentes techniques de country blues et de styles.Cette exploration conduit à son album Blues et Jazz Guitare de Mickey Baker (SGGW107). Dans le même temps, il a également commencé à fonctionner comme un jazz solo et artiste de blues qui était assez différent de son passé où il avait l'habitude affronté soit un jazz ou un groupe de rock.
