Replaces BA 5171 Volume 1 of Bach' s organ music presents some of the most frequently played organ pieces altogether. Here they appear in a new engraving based on the New Bach Edition (NBA). This updated edition takes into account the latest findings of Bach scholarship: Thus, for example, a newly-discovered copy of the first edition containing inscriptions in Bach' s own hand could be incorporated into the musical text of the Schübler Chorales. For the Orgel-Büchlein, Bach' s autograph manuscript remains the principal source. Yet a glance at its early dissemination among his pupils reveals an abundance of readings that give interested organists insights into how perhaps Bach' s most famous collection was played at that time. Unfortunately no autograph manuscripts survive regarding the early chorale partitas. However the Foreword helps to solve the 'riddle' of how these partitas were handed down. Beaucoup de ses plus de 100 oeuvres pour orgue abordent des thèmes de la chorale grégorienne qui Schroeder a beaucoup apprécié. Diatonisme modale Le choral qui est plus libre et différent de celui de la tonalité plus tard, majeur-mineur établit une parfaite symbiose avec la tonalité libre du compositeur contemporain. Parmi les modes d'église, le 'tonus peregrinus' est le plus intéressant car il dispose de deux tons alternés récitant et donc ne rentre pas dans le schéma habituel des modes d'église huit. Depuis il module ', il est un étranger, un 'peregrinus', parmi les tonalités - et donc d'un intérêt particulier pour les compositeurs. Elle constitue la base de l'ancien Magnificat grégorien, Bach a utilisé dans son Magnificat, de Mozart à l'introït de son requiem. Schroeder a utilisé le tonus peregrinus pour atteindre intéressants effets harmoniques et tonales, créant ainsi un cycle de virtuose de dix variations efficaces et coloré. BWV 248. Par BACH JOHANN SEBASTIAN. For this edition, Carsten Klomp has transferred the orchestral movement of the 1st cantata from Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio to the organ. It not only enables a performance with a reduced line-up, but also a tonally appealing and surprisingly coherent rendition of this wonderful music. The way the voices are distributed on the manuals and pedal and the balance between virtuosity and good playability ensure both proximity to the original score and an organ-appropriate implementation. Instead of a simple piano reduction on the organ, this version offers an independent performance option that allows the organ to be used in all of its facets and possibilities.The vocal parts (solos and choir) are identical to the edition of the original version (Carus 31.248/00), so that the piano reduction and choral score can be used.The single part for the organ was optimized for page turning, i.e. the choral parts were not printed, but the dacapo was always notated out. / Date parution : 2021-12-09/ Répertoire / Orgue
