Depuis Lin Chin Cheng commence son voyage musical en provenance de Taiwan à l'Australie et de l'Australie à la Belgique, il a représenté plusieurs concerts importants tels que les performances réalisées en Australie et pour les échanges culturels avec la Chine et Singapour groupe. Il a disputé son premier récital première Taipei 2002, a rejoint le 'BA-DA groupe de percussions Boom' et était un navire de formation de 'KARAK duo de percussion'. Il a participé au Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra en tournée dans le Queensland. Il a été invité à jouer un concert à la vitrine 'Australian Percussion Symposium 2003 '.Lin est devenu le soliste d'Europe 2007 au Concours '4 ème soliste européen à Birmingham 2007, et il a reçu deux supplémentaires le 'Choice Award de performance 'et le' Prix de la meilleure marimba '. Il gagne rapidement une reconnaissance internationale depuis qu'il est devenu à l'âge de 19 ans, un lauréat du Concours International de Marimba Belgique 2004. Il a également reçu le 'Troisième prix' du Concours International de Musique de Chambre Contemporaine en Pologne, le 'Talent Prize' de la Déclaration universelle des concours de marimba Belgique 2007, le 'Prix de la culture exceptionnelle' dans l'artiste taiwanais Festival 2006, le 'deuxième prix' du marimba solo et le 'Premier prix' du duo de marimba APS and E 2003, et le 'Premier prix' du marimba solo et le prix d'encouragement des jeunes à la percussion Prix d'Australie Eisteddfod 2002.Lin a été invité pour des master classes et de plusieurs festivals internationaux dans plus de 15 pays tels que: le Festival International du Film de Bruxelles, le Festival der Voorkempen, le 7e festival international de Valence à percussion, le 6e festival international Marimbistas au Chiapas, l'Ensemble de percussion international Semaine, l'Universal Marimba Festival de la Belgique et de nombreux jours de percussion européenne. En outre, il a enseigné dans plusieurs universités- l'Université Griffith du Queensland Conservatorium, Université du Chiapas, de l'Université de la Patagonie, La Corogne professionnel Conservatoire et Conservatoire de Hasselt. Sa composition 'Retour à l'époque' a reçu le 'Prix Originalité' à la Déclaration universelle des concours de marimba Belgique 2007 et ses travaux sont devenus un répertoire standard des compétitions internationales de Marimba.Lin a étudié marimba et percussions avec Huang Kun-Yan, Guo Guang-Yuan, Gary France, Vanessa Tomlinson, Kevin Man, Eric Sammut et Ouderits Lion. Il a complété sa spécialisation étude marimba avec Ludwig Albert et la composition avec Alain Craens au Conservatoire Royal d'Anvers, en Belgique.Aujourd'hui, Lin Chin Cheng est un artiste concert à partir de projets de Marimba en Belgique et en Nouvelle Art Inc à Taiwan et endosseur de Resta maillets en France. Árpád Balázs (*1937) composed the first version of Rhapsody for Hungarian cimbalom and concert band in 2001; in 2021, on the encouragement by a Japanese marimba player he arranged the solo part for marimba, and therefore the opportunities for the work to be played have significantly widened. The Rhapsody follows the one-movement structure created by Franz Liszt. The beginning solo section of the cimbalom (or marimba) returns before the coda as a pillar of the form. The composition, which can be divided into five sections, develops and works with a Lydian tetrachordal motif (G-A-B-C sharp) in different characters, stretching the span of music from a simple, children's song-like appearance to an obstinate ritual dance. Although many of the greatest composers from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods did not write for marimba, their works are still available and are perfectly suited for this instrument.
