J'ai toujours voué une immense admiration à Jean Sébastien BACH et, quand j'ai travaillé sur le ' Clavier bien tempéré ' au piano, j'ai tenté de transposer certaines pièces à la guitare, ayant l'intuition que cela pouvait donner une nouvelle approche de ces oeuvres sublimes. Ce 21e prélude mérite à mon sens de devenir partie intégrante du répertoire guitaristique, tant on dirait qu'il a été pensé pour l'instrument - avec ses effets d'arpèges et ses gammes (certains reports d'octaves était bien sûr nécessaires), mettant vraiment l'instrument en valeur. La fugue, bien que moins évidente à jouer, sonne aussi très bien. J'espère donc avoir par ce travail contribué à faire entrevoir de nouvelles possibilités aux guitaristes, même si c'est au prix d'un effort certain pour maîtriser les aspects techniques de l'exécution. / Guitare
