En effet, Ibrahim fait un show historique le 14 décembre 2016 affichant complet plus de 8 mois à l?avance à l?AccorHotels Arena de Paris Bercy.
Quelques mois plus tard, Ibrahim crée la surprise. Qualifié de « virtuose » par le New York Times, il se produit lors d'un concert exceptionnel en collaboration avec The New Levant Initiative, au Kennedy Center de Washington DC, pour la création mondiale de son album « Levantine Symphony No.1 ».
Ibrahim est récompensé par 2 « Victoires du Jazz » ainsi que 2 « Victoires de la Musique » (« Album Musique du monde » et « Concert ou tournée de l?année » qui par ailleurs sont les premières récompenses des victoires de la musique décernées à un instrumentiste depuis leur création il y a plus de 33 ans. 100 Progressive Melodies of 3 to 8 Notes with Piano Accompaniment. Level: Beginner The First Book of Classical Trumpet offers a selection of 100 melodies from classic repertoire, the result of Andrea Cappellari's many years of research and experience in music teaching. Students of any age will be able to perform melodies by classical composers from the very first lessons. All 100 short melodies consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of eight notes. Only basic rhythmic note values are used, from the eighth note to the whole note. The pieces are presented in progressive order of difficulty, and are in the most appropriate keys for the instrument. The simple piano accompaniments encourage ensemble playing at a beginner level and the recorded piano accompaniments are an excellent tool for practicing. To this day Eugène Bozza (1905-1991) remains one of the most prolific composers for wind instruments despite being a violinist himself. His Caprice No. 2 for Trumpet with Piano accompaniment is no exception to the composer's success. During his studies at the Paris Conservatoire Bozza won prizes for Violin conducting and composition as well as the Grand Prix de Rome. He then conducted the orchestra of the Opéra-Comique and became Head of the Conservatoire in Valenciennes whilst remaining a prominent composer. Composed in 1978 Bozza's Caprice No. 2 addresses advanced aspects of theTrumpet including complex rhythms exploited tonalilty and articulation. As music educationalist Paul Griffiths has written of Bozza's compositions 'his works reveal melodic fluency elegance of structure and a consistenly sensitive concern of instrumental capabilities.'

Par SAMITZ NICO. Nico Samitz has been composing for chamber ensembles since his school days. For over ten years he has been writing works in a wide variety of genres for the ?BlechReiz BrassQuintett? ensemble, in which he himself plays trumpet and piano. His field of expertise ranges from classical pieces to jazz and meditative music?and even to pop-oriented compositions. While honing his skills in ear-training and composition at the Mozarteum, Salzburg, Nico became acquainted with a wide repertoire of works as a trumpet player with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, The Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Bavarian State Opera, all of which have influenced his writing style. The driving force behind his creative work is a winning combination of passion, the fun of music-making and a desire to express, through the medium of music, feelings that are difficult to put into words. Like many of his works, Nico composed The Joy of Freedom for the ?BlechReiz BrassQuintet?. French composer and conductor Henri Tomasi (1901-1971) published Variations Grégoriennes Sur Un Salve Regina 1964. As with his other wind compositions Gregorian Variations for Trumpet and String Orchestra and Organ reduction was well-received by audiences. Tomasi was born in Marseille but his Father and Mother were originally from La Casinca in Corsica. Despite being pressured in to musical studies by his parents Tomasi dreamed of becoming a sailor and during the summer he stayed with his Grandmother in Corsica where he learnt traditional Corsican songs. However in1921 he began his studies at the Paris Conservatoire and went on to become a high profile composer and conductor. Tomasi did not forget his Corsican routes often incorporating themes of the songs he had learnt during the summers with his Grandmother into his compositions. Variations Grégoriennes Sur Un Salve Regina is a highly unusual and modern work based on an old Marian Hymn (a song for the Virgin Mary). The variations exploit tonality rhythm and structure amongst other aspects. This Tomasi piece is suitable for advanced trumpeters providing an exciting alternative addition to the instrument's repertoire.
