Ce concerto, exigeant techniquement, a été dédié saxophoniste virtuose espagnol Mariano Garcia. L'œuvre a étécréée en mai 2021 au Lemmensinstitute avec l'orchestre d'harmonie de la LUCA School of Arts de Louvain (Belgique) sous la direction d'Ivan Meylemans. Mariano Garcia est professeur de saxophone à plein temps à la LUCA School ofArts, au Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon à Saragosse (Espagne) et à la Wiener Akademie Musik (Autriche).
