The collection consists of both well-known songs and songs from the children's home countries. It is suitable as a first introduction into chamber music playing. By using different techniques (pizzicato, con sordino, solo and tutti), a colourful string orchestra setting is created which forms a beautiful sound image for a children's orchestra.
