Since many will want to ?play along? as they learn Sylvia has recordedthese pieces slower than they are usually played and as ?straight? as possible with little or no expression or rhythmic variations. The Canon was recorded at a metronome marking of 92 and Jesu at 100. Inall of the duet versions one harp part is on one tract of the stereo and the second harp part (or the flute part) is on the other. If you can adjust the separate channels you can hear each part separately. The three versions ofthe Canon are played first in the original key of D and then in the key of G. All the versions of the Jesu are without repeats and go straight to the second ending.

The Harpsicle Harp Method book is an excellent tool for learning to play the Harpsicle Harp or any size Harp from the very beginning. No musical knowledge is necessary to use this method. All the music is written inthe keys of C Major and A minor so no sharping levers or pedals are needed.
