To this day Eugène Bozza (1905-1991) remains one of the most prolific composers for wind instruments despite being a violinist himself. His Contrasts III for Clarinet and Bassoon is no exception to the composer's success. During his studies at the Paris Conservatoire Bozza won prizes for Violin conducting and composition as well as the Grand Prix de Rome. He then conducted the orchestra of the Opéra-Comique and became Head of the Conservatoire in Valenciennes whilst remaining a prominent composer. Composed in 1955 Bozza's Brief Piece is to be played on the Alto Saxophone and isa virtuosic work addressing advanced features including complex rhythms chromaticism a wide range and articulation. As music educationalist Paul Griffiths has written of Bozza's compositions 'his works reveal melodic fluency elegance of structure and a consistently sensitive concern of instrumental capabilities.'

Composed by Eugène Bozza in 1947  Short Suite In Trio Form Op. 67 is a piece for Oboe Clarinet and Bassoon. This edition features the parts for the three instruments and a full score. This four-movement work is quite difficult and would be perfect for advanced players. A great piece for recitals it is also really interesting to play for each of the three instruments. The four movements are Allegro moderato which starts with the Oboe Allegro vivo Adagio espressivo and Allegro vivo and the piece lasts approximatively 10 minutes. Eugène Bozza won different prizes at theConservatoire de Paris such as the First Prizes for the Violin conducting and composition as well as the Grand Prix de Rome. He composed several operas chamber works and ballets among others.

Quartet was composed by Jørgen Jersild in 1934 for Violin Viola Clarinet and Bassoon. Jørgen Jersild was a Danish music educator and composer. Jersild worked as a professor of ear training at The Royal Danish Academy Of Music in Copenhagen.
