Napoleon Coste was one of the most distinguished composer-guitarists of nineteenth-century French music. The present edition is based on the first edition of the 25 studies, op. 38 published by S. Richault in Paris in 1873. The orginal agogic and dinamic indications, legati and other signs are retained.
