Published by Anglo Music Press (BT.AMP-142-020). 9x12 inches. Over a period of four decades Jimmy Webb (b. 1946) has written hits for a number of singers including Glen Campbell, Art Garfunkel, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt. His songs are often epic in character and include By the Time I Get to Phoenix; Up, Up and Away; Didn’t We; Wichita Lineman and Galveston. MacArthur Park (1968) was unlike anything that had gone before it. Running at over 7 minutes, it is 2 or 3 times the length of most pop songs and has an extended orchestral interlude. Richard Harris’ seminal recording topped the music charts in Europe, while peaking at number two on the U.S. charts. Philip Sparke has made this excellentarrangement for fanfare band, which is sure to become a regular feature on your concert programme.

Fanfare Band - Grade 4 SKU: BT.1373-06-120-MS From The War of the Worlds. Composed by Jeff Wayne. Arranged by Ed Keeley. De Haske Pop Collection. Pop & Rock. Score Only. Composed 2006. 28 pages. Music Sales #1373-06-120 MS. Published by Music Sales (BT.1373-06-120-MS). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. When Jeff Wayne’s musical adaptation H.G.Wells’ novel The War of the Worlds was originally released, no one would have believed that it would become so popular. The Eve of the War, the stunning opening scene of Wayne’s show, became a huge international hit single in its own right. This new arrangement by the highly respected British composer/arranger Ed Keeley retains all the drama and tension of the original atmospheric opening. A joy to perform and a pleasure to listen to.
Toen Jeff Wayne’s muzikale bewerking van The War of the Worlds - H.G.
The War of the Worlds (La guerra dei mondi) è universalmente noto come romanzo di H.G. $23.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks | | |
