Rodrigo's music is among the most popular music of the 20th century in particular his Concierto de Aranjuez is considered one of the pinnaclesof Spanish music and of the Guitar concerto repertoire. Although distinguished by having raised the Spanish Guitar to dignity as a universal concert instrument and best known for his Guitar music the blind composer never mastered the instrument himself.

Harp 3-CD Play-Along-Performed by Desislave Nikolova harp Accompaniment: Marcelo Ehrlich flute; Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra Conductor: Nayden Todorov Mozart's well-known concerto for flute and harp is a beautiful and masterfully written combination of two instruments that require extreme delicacy in combination and against an orchestral backdrop. Mozart composed it in Paris for a French Count and his daughter and it has a distinctly French style with a magically interwoven fabric of sound which utilizes both instruments to their fullest. It was the only time Mozart would write for the harp. C'est magnifique! Includes printed score for solo harp printed on high-quality ivorypaper with informative liner notes and voluminously indexed for ease of practice and performance and two compact discs with three versions of the concerto: a) complete with flute and harp; b) minus harp; c) minus flute and harp (for 2 players); and d) -20% slow-tempo practice version minus harp.

Par DECRUCK FERNANDE. Le Concerto pour harpe et orchestre, dédié au harpiste et pédagogue français Pierre Jamet et créé par lui le 31 mars 1946 avec l'orchestre des Concerts Colonne sous la baguette de Paul Paray, n'est pas sans rappeler la Sonate pour harpe de Germaine Tailleferre. C'est un concertino de style léger, chaleureux et plein de surprises. À la première représentation par les Concerts Colonne, Henry Malherbe a déclaré qu'il s'agissait d'une œuvre « au sentiment délicat et animé » et que « Pierre Jamet, harpiste de renom, a accompli une belle réussite. » Pierre Jamet deviendra d'ailleurs professeur de harpe au Conservatoire de Paris deux années plus tard (c'est-à-dire en 1948). Toutefois, Decruck semble en être restée sur sa faim. En effet, dans sa partition définitive, elle déclare que le quatrième mouvement, une fughetta, devrait être coupée. Parts are for hire: hire@ewh.dk QUEEN AND ACE is based on KING QUEEN AND ACE from 1989 for Harp Solo and Thirteen Instruments. QUEEN AND ACE is as the title indicates identical to the two latter movements of the work from 1989 except that the ensemble leaves out trumpet trombone and double bass.
