With typical Metheny/Mays flavor, there is a musical shift in the middle as solo space for tenor saxophone emerges, followed by a full ensemble interlude which then takes us to a peak ending. This is a lovely, straight-eighth waltz that starts simply and quietly with the rhythm section. There are flute doubles in the alto saxophone parts and a flugelhorn solo.
