Bells are associated with the holiday season as well as celebratory and inspirational tributes and events. This song will be your favorite choral imitating the ring and sound of bells. Polyphonic and homophonic sections play offeach other and add to the diverse sound. An optional section allows two choirs to sing together in both musical styles. Simplistic singing builds to majestic singing then fades away like bells in a steeple chiming in fallingsnow. Now two-part ensembles can enjoy this memorable choral with an optional piano accompaniment. What cannot be sung by the two voices is now provided by the piano accompaniment. However if used as an a cappella piece theflavor and excitement are still there for the singers and audience. A wonderful addition for your treble library! Available separately: SATB unaccompanied; SSAA unaccompanied SSAB unaccompanied; 2-part accompanied.

This song is an inspired reminder of God's faithfulness. Tender and fragile, the theme opens with innocence and clarity, articulating the seasons of life and the constancy of the Almighty. Though composed in a singer-songwriteridiom, the choral parts are deep and satisfying, bringing warmth and sincerity. A reference to Psalm 119 is crowned with the affirmation, I choose to live in faith, not fear. Truly a song for this season of challenges! NOTE: FullPerformance and Part Dominant MP3's are for the SATB voicing only.

A Spotless Rose by Welsh composer Paul Mealor arranged for unaccompanied SSAA divisi chorus. The sublime harmonies of this piece were released on the album 'A Tender Light' that also featured his piece composed for the Royal Wedding. It is the words to the famous English carol you expect but the music is a pleasant surprise. The rolling piano part is reminiscent of a harp and sets the dance in motion. The vocal lines are buoyant and flowing. The harmonies are not what you expect from Burchard and the unexpected change is delightful.

The Waiting Sky by Oliver Tarney for SSAA unaccompanied.Oliver Tarney has re-worked his popular unaccompanied minature The Waiting Sky for upper voices. The evocative text by Lucia Quinault depicts a rural winter scene and is skilfully set to music by Oliver Tarney to create a lucidly reflective piece. There is a sense in both the text and the music of waiting for the 'shining star' and while it would make a beautiful addition to a concert programme at other times of the year the setting is perfect as a reflective carol for Advent anticipating the wonder of the birth of Christ.

Five choral songs. Par SCHONHERR CHRISTOPH. Since his earliest childhood, Christoph Schönherr has been fascinated by all things nautical. His cycle Von Schiffen, Meer und Wind (Of Ships, Sea and Wind) brings together verses by different poets that explore the sea in its various guises. The work's selected poems describe the vast ocean that can fill us with a deep sense of tranquility, but can also bring mortal danger with its storms and destructive waves. Boats, and especially sailing ships, are often associated with freedom, a sense of weightlessness, and security. But if we are caught in a storm at sea, we suddenly find ourselves at the mercy of nature. We are made painfully aware of our own insignificance in the greater scheme of things.According to the composer and passionate sailor: ?In the five choral songs I attempt to characterize the atmosphere of the texts and the emotions they contain. My experiences at sea, for example in storms or when simply contemplating the motionless water, guided me in my search for a suitable means of musical expression.? / Date parution : 2023-06-01/ Répertoire / SSAA
