Natalie Sleeth's original SATB choral setting is also known as In the Bulb There Is a Flower. The provocative text relates both to our present life and our hope of eternal life, as expressed in I Corinthians 15:35-58. This fresh setting emphasizes the resurrected life as it builds to the final victory stanza with driving rhythm and a change to common meter (4/4). This arrangement is also available in a medium-voice vocal solo in the key of F.

Easter Hymn is commonly known as Christ the Lord is Risen Today; Gelobt Sei Gott is Good Christian Men, Rejoice and Sing!; and Diademata, is commonly known as Crown Him With Many Crowns. Easter Hymn starts and closes the piece. The arrangement begins and ends with the same fanfare, complete with several meter changes. Tempos vary within the medley and the texture diversifies as well. A total of 92 measures, this medley is arranged in C Major, Ab Major, and Eb Major.

Performance Notes: The handbell arrangements in this collection have been composed for use specifically with the We Celebrate hymnal published by WLP. The hymn tunes used, as well as their harmonizations, are commonly found in same form in many hymnals. The bell peal is intended to be used as part of an introduction to the hymn. The pattern may be repeated as many times as necessary, and is to be followed by an organ/instrumental introduction that leads to the singing of the hymn. The peal could be rung from a stationary position, or could be a processional (movement) by a small group of ringers. For processionals, parts enter from lowest to highest, or in any preferred order. Each part may be repeated as needed before the next part enters. The final chord is rung together when the procession is completed.
