Originally part of Brahms's Requiem Op.45 this undulating and expressive setting has been arranged by H.A. Chambers for a chorus of high voices with a full Piano accompaniment derived from the orchestral score.

Sarah Quartel's Snow Angel for SSAA solo Cello Djembe and Piano. Already a firm favourite with choirs across the world Snow Angel is an evocative five-movement choral work that explores themes of love rebirth and beauty through the eyes of children and the heavenly army of angels that watch over them yearning to make a difference to their lives. The work may be performed with narration in which three angels present their perspectives on their earthly charges. Sarah Quartel weaves a haunting and poignant Cello line throughout the work and a vibrant part for Djembe in movement four 'Sweet child' carriesthe listener from the ethereal and mystical realm the work predominantly inhabits into an emphatic anthem with a distinctly African feel. The musical language is emotive and pictorial allowing performers to play an active role in the storytelling. Snow Angel is also available in a version for SATB.

Ysaye Barnwell is a member of Sweet Honey in the Rock and the unique stylings and vocal techniques of that famed ensemble are evident in this piece. “Wade in the Watah” borrows from another spiritual “Done MadeMy Vow ” and references the great Harriet Tubman as freedom's guide. The incredible train effects are amazing. The broad range of this piece which occasionally divides into six-part treble covers the full spectrum from lowD to high B! A most impressive entry for contest festival or worship. “Wade in the Watah” will leave listeners in awe!

Heinrich Poos is not the first composer inspired by Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock's poem 'Die Auferstehung', as even Gustav Mahler had already used these verses in the fifth movement of his Second Symphony 'Auferstehung'. Mahler was inspired to use a choral movement at the end of his symphony at the funeral of the conductor Hans von Bülow where a choir sang a chorale based on said text by Klopstock. (Shout for Joy)-Mendelssohn wrote Psalm 66 Jauchzet Gott alle Lande (Shout For Joy) in 1822 when he was only 13 years old. He wrote it in a similar style to Handel's Messiah full of melismas and very much in a late Baroque style. With a keyboard part realized by Advanced Women's Choir Consortium creator Kathleen Rodde this is a wonderful new offering for college and women's community choirs.
