Basses avec faibles Ds sont requis et raisonnablement flotte-footed chanteurs dont le sens de l'ensemble est bon pour les éléments rythmiques des phrases mélismatiques qui caractérisent la pièce. Ces éléments presque improvisés transforment en improvisation réelle dans la seconde moitié où les altos, les ténors et les basses font leur propre, moyens individuels d'un Alleluia (avec un modèle suggéré) tandis que les deux parties soprano portent le texte vers l'avant avec les parties répétitons.
