Enrique Granados (1867-1916), un des plus grands compositeurs du XXe siècle l'Espagne, était un pianiste fine et un enseignant qui a composé de nombreuses oeuvres pour piano, son instrument de prédilection. Son Escenas Poeticas (scènes poétique) et Escenas Romanticas (scènes romantiques) sont deux suites qui montrent pianistique influences de Grieg, Schumann et Liszt. Ces deux suites ne sont pas aussi bien connus en Amérique, ne sont pas comme ' espagnol ' comme certains de ses autres oeuvres - cependant, ils reflètent encore style de composition originale du compositeur et de la belle écriture mélodique. Le Escenas Romanticas contient six pièces de facile à difficile, alors que la Escenas Poeticas a trois pièces principalement facile au milieu en difficulté. With the new Urtext Primo series, the Wiener Urtext Edition wants to close the gap arising at the point of transition to additional lessons after having studied a piano method.
