Joha nn Friedrich Fasch (1688 - 1758) was a prolific composer who composed a variety of cantatas, concertos, symphonies and other chamber music. Although none of the music was published during his lifetime, much of his instrumental music was later published and is still frequently performed today. The only known composition of his for lute is this Concerto in D Minor in three movements: Allegro moderato, Andante, and Un poco allegro. This edition includes the full orchestral score, orchestral parts, as well as guitar and lute parts. Victor Van Puijenbroeck has adapted the original solo part and included in the set are parts for both lute (the part has been adapted from lute tablature to modern notation) and guitar (capotasto). Instrumentation: Full Score, Guitar (or Lute) - separate parts included for each instrument, Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cembalo/Cello/Contrabass.

Sahara takes you on a journey to the largest desert in the world. Located in the north of the African continent, it covers eight million square kilometres and spreads across ten nations. The work describes the various landscapes that the Sahara has to offer, using different instrumental groups to underline different characteristics. Both an intense rhythmic passage with lots of percussion, as well as a chorale part with beautiful brass segments, make this a wonderful yet challenging piece. It also allows you to work on different technical aspects with your band and is suitable for a concert or a contest.

Sahara neemt je mee op reis naar de grootste woestijn ter wereld, gelegen in het noorden van het Afrikaanse continent over een oppervlakte van acht miljoen vierkante kilometer verspreid over tien landen. Het werk beschrijft de verschillende woestijnlandschappen van de Sahara, waarbij verschillende instrumentgroepen hun kenmerken onderstrepen. Van een intense, ritmische passage met veel slagwerk tot een koraalgedeelte met boeiende koperpartijen is dit een prachtig stuk vol uitdagingen. Before his untimely death in 1988, Dutch composer Rogier van Otterloo became well-known for the film music he wrote to various successful Dutch movies. (Help, the Doctor Is Drowning!, 1974) and Soldaat van Oranje (Soldier of Orange, 1977) have been used, as well as Esther (from Soldier of Orange). Sophie and Hans Scholl took their stand in the full knowledge that they were taking a deadly risk. They would simply not have been able to live with their feelings of shame had they not grasped the chance of fighting for what they believed in, even though it was a dangerous thing to do. Memories of past events, doubts, hopes and fears, justification of deeds and an acceptance of death, all these things happen and move in, and between, these two people during this representation of the hour before death.
