The original version of Bryce Dessner's To The Sea was premiered on 2nd November 2011 during the 'Monstrance' installation in collaboration with Matthew Ritchie at L & M Arts Los Angeles. Theversion for strings was commissioned by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and first performed on 19th May 2012. This is the Vocal Score arranged for SSAA Chorus.
