The secondo opens with the melody accompanied by "sleigh bell" staccato chords in the primo. The familiar melody is playfully taken through a variety of treatments (including a baroque fugue) and tonalities before concluding with a surprise ending. Primo part is small hand friendly. Yet another delightful "duet fantasy" by Robert Vandall (also see Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells, Joy to the World, and America, the Beautiful). Christmas recital.
